Three steps, about a minute
Pick the parts
Each tab is one layer: backdrop, body, clothes, head, mouth, eyes, eyebrows, hair, hat and accessory. Choose None to leave a layer empty.
Choose colors
Skin, hair, clothes and backdrop have color sets. The head and body share one skin color, so they always match.
Download
Pick a size and a background, then save the PNG or copy it to your clipboard. Stuck? Press Random a few times.
Download sizes
The character is drawn on a 64×64 grid. Every size is a whole-number enlargement of it, so each pixel stays a clean square instead of turning blurry.
| Size | Good for |
|---|---|
| 256×256 | Icons, emoji, small avatars |
| 512×512 | Profile pictures |
| 1024×1024 | Large avatars and prints |
| 2048×2048 | Posters and stickers |
Each download has a small toonizer.com credit in the bottom corner. Tick “Transparent background” if you want to place the character on your own background.
Making a face read at 64 pixels
At this size a character is recognised by its outline and a few colors long before anyone looks at the details. A few things that help:
Start with the silhouette
Hair and hats change the outline more than anything else. Choose those first, then fill in the face. If two characters look alike, change the hat before you change the eyes.
Eyes carry the mood
One or two pixels separate a calm look from an angry one. Eyebrows do the rest. Try a few eye and eyebrow pairs before settling.
Keep the colors few
Every part uses a small set of exact colors, and the color sets swap them one for one. That is why the edges stay sharp. A character with one strong accent color reads better than one with five.
Check it small
Zoom the preview out. If the character still reads as a profile picture at the size of a thumbnail, it will work anywhere.

Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit on downloads.
Is this made with AI?
No. Every part was drawn by hand, pixel by pixel. The tool stacks the layers you choose and swaps their colors.
Where can I use my character?
As a profile picture, a stream or server avatar, a placeholder in your own game, or in any personal project.
Will my character be saved?
Your last character stays in your own browser on the same device. Nothing is sent to the server. To move it to another device, open Seed and copy its recipe.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On small screens the preview sits on top and the parts below it. Full screen gives you more room.
